Day 6 - High-Steppers at HarborWalk Village

After the air show, we ventured in the other direction to find the High-Steppers, a dance company composed of mainly senior citizens who performed "exhilarating" patriotic tap routines.





We were told that the fireworks show didn't start until nine, and we didn't want to hang around for another hour, so we decided to head back towards our condo. Rachel requested that we stop by the $5 Souvenir store on our way back. As soon as we get out of the car, we see fireworks going off in the distance. So much for starting at 9:00.

It turns out that everything in the store isn't $5. However, we did pick up three $5 tee-shirts for friends.

While we were in the store, it started storming, again. We think maybe they set off the fireworks early because of the weather.

Day 6 - HarborWalk Air Show

We hadn't walked too when we noticed the air show start above us.

Day 8 - Fountains

We decided to go outside and watch the fountains one last time before leaving.

Day 7 - Back to M&M's World

We didn't get to watch the 3D movie the first time we were at the M&M's store, so we went back (plus we needed some more M&M's!).



















We ended up having to wait an awfully long time to see the movie. The theater is not nearly big enough. This part of M&M World could use a remodel. It's still cute, but it's showing its wear.

Day 5 - More Kiddie Gambling

To further our true Vegas experience (this is mainly a bring-back-memories motive), we had to visit the arcade area. It was grosser than I remembered (though I don’t remember much). It could be really cute – it just needs a major remodel. Most of the arcade games were broken and had duct tape over them. I saw no prize I needed (thank goodness!) at any of the carnival booths. In the center of the crazy, loud arcade was a small circus ring with minimal seating, where shows are performed periodically throughout the day.



The games were almost exactly the same as those at Excalibur. I recommend doing one arcade or the other (if either).

I played some Ski Ball and a jump rope game that was rigged, but after that, I felt no need to stick around.

Day 4 - The Flamingos at the Flamingo

Since we were at the Flamingo, Rachel and I suggested we go visit the Flamingos.

Day 3 - Tram to the Luxor

On our way back, we stopped at the Luxor.







I love the theming of this resort, however I don't think it's elaborate enough. They could do so much more - really make it luxurious. However, the Luxor, if I recall correctly, is not very expensive. I'd consider this a "moderate" resort (Disney lingo).





I didn't even see the casino for this resort, and I loved that (oh, wait, I went up an escalator that overlooked some slot machines). We went to the second level and got a drink from their food court (McDonald's) and got some rest. I know we have a picture of that McDonald's... must be on Rachel's memory card. Will upload.
